Three public transportation agencies serve the D-FW region: Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART), Denton County Transportation Authority (DCTA), and the Fort Worth Transportation Authority. Each provides rail and bus service, and work together to connect Dallas, Tarrant and Denton counties.
